IT Pick: April 2020

Home Selling Is Slowed, But Not Stopped By The Response To COVID-19

Since the stay-at-home mandate was announced, new listings on the market have shown a slight decline. However, selling prices of closed sales have broadly matched their listing prices, and in some areas, have sold above the seller’s offer for the home.

Despite our current restrictions, home buying and selling is still as active as ever in our local market. Recent data shows that the number of homes and condos sold in the first week of April, were higher than in each of the past two years.
