IT LIST: October 2020

To my friends, family, and clients,

Welcome to October! This is one of my favorite times of the year. I love putting up spooky décor, and embracing the changing colors and scenery. Temperatures in our area are beginning to drop, but Seattle has seen no sign of a slowdown in our real estate market.

In this month’s IT List, I'm pleased to share some exciting updates on some of my latest listings: a new condo in Madison Park, lovely one-level home in Broadmoor, a few homes on their way to closing, and a significant sale I assisted my buyers with. I also spotlight the latest addition to Realogics Sotheby's, the latest market trends in our area, and a heartwarming testimonial from a recent client.

Seattle Home Prices Trend Higher, But Demand Shifts are Imminent

Seattle's home prices have inched higher as the latest reports for July show a moderate, seven percent increase from this same time last year. Despite current mandates in place, buyers are still on the move more than ever for the perfect home, and sellers are considering whether refinancing is their best option, or packing up and searching for the next best home.

Realogics Sotheby's Vision Comes to Life

Earlier this month, Realogics Sotheby's International Realty opened its doors on Old Main Street in Bellevue! Our brokerage is proud to welcome to the public a café by day and evening wine bar by night, B-Bar alongside our newest office in Bellevue. It's a pleasure to be a part of an expanding brokerage, and see this anticipated vision come to life!

4 Beds | 3.5 Baths | 3,130 SF

Situated in the heart of Broadmoor, this Anhalt Tudor home combines classical architectural detailing with thoughtful updates for the way we live today. Known as the Millard-May house, this was Anhalt's favorite home and he punctuated it with oodles of delicious details: a timbered entry dormer, a dramatic vaulted beamed ceiling, stained glass windows, a Dutch door and brass nailhead trim. Embracing its super-power (charm and ambience) at every turn, this home has been completely updated by the team of Bosworth Hoedemaker and Garret Cord Werner.
3356 East Shore Drive
Sold at $1,850,000
3 Beds | 2 Baths | 3,130 SF

Striking the perfect note of, (dare I say) charming and unpretentious comfort amid the cacophony of boxy, ultra-hip design that seems to be springing up everywhere. This little gem is a throwback - in a very good way! Who knew that a simple coved ceiling and the glories of a beautiful outlook could be so utterly seductive? Priced to sell on one of the most sought-after streets in Broadmoor. Remodel or update, or start over and build your dream. At this price, for this location, both are great options!
Cynthia Snellman & Jim Replogle

"Laura provided the local knowledge, skill, patience and advice to sell our home in Broadmoor. She is discrete, empathetic and forthright and earned our trust immediately. If you are buying or selling a home in the Broadmoor, Madison Park or Laurelhurst area, you really want her on your team."
Stunning vistas, amazing architecture, and top tier appointments—those are just a few things that you’ll find in the Puget Sound’s most extraordinary homes. It's an honor to be featured in Realogics Sotheby's third quarter significant sales!

It was a pleasure representing my buyers on their purchase of this lavish, waterfront home in the Laurelhurst neighborhood. Welcome home!

Luxury is an experience, not a price point.
